Tony is a dynamic saxophonist blending Contemporary Jazz, R&B, and Funk into an unforgettable musical experience. Known for his smooth, soulful sound and commanding stage presence, Tony has carved out a distinctive lane in the modern jazz landscape—one that resonates deeply with audiences around the world. Educated at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music Tony began his professional career as a freshman rising thru the rank of the local R&B, Top 40 and corporate band scene. Embarking on the solo journey in 2010 with the release of his first CD and began touring the U.S. in 2011.
His rise to international acclaim began in 2019 with the release of his breakout single “My Name’s Tony,” which enjoyed an impressive 12-week run on the Smooth Jazz Network Top 100 chart. Since then, Tony has continued to build a strong and consistent chart presence, achieving seven Top 100 Smooth Jazz Network singles as both a lead artist and featured performer. In 2020, he earned a #1 Billboard Most Added single with David P. Stevens, followed by four additional Top 10 Billboard Most Added Smooth Jazz singles. His global and digital reach is further reflected with three Radio Wave/Groove Jazz Top 100 singles, two Smooth Jazz Spain Top 100 singles, and ongoing placement on SmoothJazz.com’s streaming and airplay Top 100, where he remains a constant presence.
Tony’s live performances have graced premier festivals and venues including Middle C Jazz (Charlotte), San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival, Winter Park Jazz Festival, Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival, and Boscov’s Berks Jazz Festival, among many others. Beyond the stage, he is a respected voice in contemporary jazz radio, heard five nights a week on Jazz 93.5 FM, where he curates the airwaves with the latest in the genre. He has also had the honor of performing the National Anthem for the NFL’s LA Rams and the NBA’s Denver Nuggets.
His recorded catalog includes two critically acclaimed albums, Finally and The One, along with seven singles, highlighted by chart favorites “Brighter Days” and “Get At You.” In 2022, Tony signed with Sony/The Orchard/BSE Recordings, releasing “Everything,” which reached #19 on the Urban Influencer R&B Soul Chart. In 2024, Tony was featured on “I Wanna Be Closer” by R&B legend Glenn Jones, featuring Eric Nolan of The O’Jays—a modern reimagining of the classic by the 70s Motown group Switch. The track debuted at #1 on the Amazon R&B UK Chart, held #1 for two weeks on the Urban Influencer R&B/Soul Chart, and earned a 2024 Indie Soul Awards nomination.
As Tony prepares for his 2026 tour, with performances already added to his busy touring schedule in Los Angeles, Charlotte, Houston, Biloxi, West Columbia, South Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia, the excitement surrounding his music continues to grow.
