Frequently Asked Questions

For any event you plan on attending, please check our website for updates before the event. If an event is postponed or cancelled, we will update our website immediately and then will begin contacting individual ticket holders. Although we will work hard to update all other event listings such as Facebook and others, please always refer to our website for the current status of events. If your event has been postponed and rescheduled, we will honor your tickets and transfer them to the rescheduled date. If your event has been cancelled, we are happy to offer you credit towards another upcoming event or a full refund. If you would like a refund, please contact us by phone at 719-476-2200 so that we may get all the information required to process your refund.

You can purchase tickets three different ways:

1. ONLINE. For your convenience,  you may purchase tickets 24 hours a day online. Just click through on our website (or through our email blast if that's how you receive our news) to where it says, "Buy Tickets" for the event you would like to attend. If we are NOT the ticket outlet for a certain event, it will clearly state on our event page where to purchase tickets.

When purchasing through out website (Vendini is our ticket software), you can select to 'Print Tickets at Home' if you have access to a printer or smart phone, or select the "Cannot Print" option to be added to our Will Call list if you cannot print your tickets out/ show them on your phone. You will recieve your tickets by email, which you can print out. You may also show your tickets through your phone to be scanned at the door.

**We encourage guests to bring their physical ticket or a digital ticket on their phone to be scanned at the door to reduce wait times.

There are additional ticketing fees that apply for this convenience and those fees vary with each event.

**Please know that the ticketing fees you pay when purchasing tickets is not a fee assessed by Stargazers Theatre.  These fees go to the company that provides the secure on-line ticketing purchase, Vendini. Also, if you compare our fees to many other venues, the fees are MUCH more reasonable than most ticketing agents.

2. BY PHONE. Give us a call! (719) 476-2200 - We would be happy to help you with your ticket purchase over the phone. Ticketing fees will also apply when purchasing over the phone. Since our event schedule varies, our box office hours vary as well. If we are not in our Box Office, please leave us a detailed message clearly stating your name, phone number, and the event you would like to purchase tickets for. We will return your call as soon as possible.

3. IN PERSON. Stop by the Box Office any day that we have an event!

The Box Office is located at Stargazers Theatre: 10 South Parkside Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
The Box Office is located immediately to your right as you enter Stargazers Theatre. When we have an event, we are usually at the Box Office by 3:00 PM. Unsure if we are in? Give us a call first so you do not make a trip to our location when we are not available. Ticketing fees also apply when you purchase at our Box Office.

Unless otherwise stated on the event page, all Stargazers shows are General Admission. This means seating is open and is on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. Certain events will have an option to buy VIP tickets which allows those patrons early access for preferred seating. On some of our free concerts, we offer tickets for sale to those who would like a guaranteed table seat on level one near the stage. Each event will specify if it is General Admission or if there are other seating options.

If you have any questions on the seating for a specific event, please call our Box Office and we will answer any questions you have.

You may see reserved seats at a general admission show IF: the performers request reserved seating for their guests, OR handicap accessible seats for guests who require them (see below for more info). All other seats will be open and will be first-come, first-served.

Our venue is a handicap accessible facility which includes our entrance and restrooms, as well as seating. To request seating needs for particular individuals, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the event so that we can reserve you a specific seat. We will then send you an email confirmation of your reserved seat. If you arrive for an event without calling in advance, we cannot guarantee that there will be an easily accessible seat open. We will be happy to help in any way we can with your individual needs in order to make your experience at Stargazers fun and full of good memories.

We highly discourage you from purchasing tickets for Stargazers events through any other site than our own because we cannot guarantee that those tickets are valid. Always purchase your tickets through the Stargazers Official Website at www.stargazerstheatre.com. IF we are not the official ticketing outlet for an event, we will state clearly on our website: “Stargazers is not a ticket outlet for this event. Please purchase tickets at (website to purchase tickets).” Always go to our website for official tickets and accurate prices. Don’t pay three times as much for a ticket that may not get you in the door. We do not want you to get scammed! If you see a Stargazers event listed online with ticket prices that seem incredible high, it is most likely a third-party ticket seller. You may always call us at 719-476-2200 with any questions or concerns about where to purchase tickets/ ticket prices.

Some events may have a specific age limit to attend events. If an event states a specific, strict age, such as “Ages 21+ ONLY” or “Ages 18+ ONLY”, this is a strict age limit that we will enforce, and a valid ID must be presented to enter.

For all our concerts, please keep in mind that we are a live music venue with a full bar in the lobby and to expect the music to be loud. We do not recommend small children attending our live concerts.

Typically our doors open one hour to one and a half hours before the event starts depending on the event and the expected crowd. Please read your ticket or go to the specific event information on the website to see what time the doors open to make your arrival time decision from there.

The full service bar and food concessions are open when the doors open. Almost all of our shows are general admission, meaning first-come, first-sereed. Most folks come early, save their seats, grab their favorite beverage and snacks, then proceed to sit and visit with friends until the event begins.

Stargazers Theatre has a parking lot with over 250 FREE PARKING SPOTS. There is also additional parking available on the side streets bordering East and South of the Stargazers parking lot.  We ask that you be considerate of our neighbors and do not leave trash in their parking lots or in front of their businesses. Please take any trash home with you. Consuming your own alcoholic beverages while parked on the street or in the Stargazers parking lot is illegal.

Be sure to lock your valuables in your trunk, or better yet leave them at home! Don't give any bad guys any reason to break into your vehicle, we want you to have only good memories of your visit to Stargazers!

No. Outside food, beverages, and containers of any kind are not allowed to be brought in to Stargazers Theatre, as this violates our serving/ liquor licenses. This includes water bottles whether they are empty or full.

We do not issue ticket refunds unless an event has been cancelled. Please call us if you missed an event that you purchased tickets for and we can answer any further questions.

See a full list of our upcoming events here. You can also sign-up for our Weekly Email Newsletter where we announce new shows, specials, and more!

Stargazers Theatre has a FULL BAR with very reasonable prices. Our venue also serves Pepsi products, coffee, tea, casual dinner plates, and snacks!  All refreshments, dinner plates, and snacks are welcome in the auditorium.

Check our our Food and Drink Page here.  All of our food is homemade, delicious, and reasonably priced!

We do not have an ATM on site, however, our Box Office and our Concessions Stand/Bar take Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

While our amazing domed theatre looks like it would have been a planetarium at one point, it was actually a movie theatre! Our unique building was constructed in 1969 as a United Artist Cinema 150 Cinerama Theater. Check out our History page for more info and pictures!

The "Convenience Fee" is a Service Fee that our ticketing software charges so that we are able to sell tickets. This fee applies anywhere you can purchase tickets, including online, via phone, and in person at the Box Office.

Our mission is to bring great entertainment to great audiences and to be a warm and welcoming gathering place for the community!
