Project Foreigner:
Because of their love for and desire to celebrate the great British-American rock band, five talented musicians joined forces in 2016 to form Project Foreigner – A Tribute to Foreigner. Playing top hits as well as juke box favorites, their presence in the Northern Colorado live music scene and beyond has excited and delighted audiences and venues alike! Lead vocalist Dave Stremel is following his heart and stepping out from behind the guitar with his impressive vocal range. He leads this tribute act with fire and finesse by embracing the role of Lou Gramm. Dave has played with and fronted several other original, cover, and tribute bands. His most recent project is Judgment Day – a Whitesnake tribute.
Guitarist and backup vocalist Fernando Escobar meticulously and artfully plays the well- renowned guitar riffs of Mick Jones. An in-demand musician, Fernando has played in several music projects over the years, which currently includes regionally known Rush Archives – a tribute to Rush, as well as his most recent project, Edison’s Medicine – the Tesla experience. The band is rounded out by the expertise of keyboardist and backup vocalist Jane Frederick of award winning Hey, Lady! – a B-52s tribute and Private Dancer – the hits of Tina Turner. Recent addition Nelson Vilaboa, bassist and backup vocalist, has played on the best stages in various countries and in different musical styles, including Fire and Ice – a tribute to rock icon Pat Benatar as well as Private Dancer. Drummer and backup vocalist Tim Elliott, a Colorado native, has played with numerous Denver area tribute bands, including, but not limited to, KISS and Smokin’ as well as the actively touring El Loco Fandango – a tribute to ZZ Top.
FIRE & ICE:
FIRE And ICE, named after Pat Benatar’s grammy award hit “Fire and Ice”, pays tribute to female powerhouse & rock legend, PAT BENATAR. Founded in 2018, FIRE And ICE, based in Denver Colorado, is comprised of veteran musicians led by accomplished singer Danna Campbell. This high energy rockin’ band offers powerhouse vocals and stellar stage performance. They bring to the stage an amazing authentic tribute to one of the most influential female rock vocalist and songwriters of all time. You’ll think you’re back in time as FIRE And ICE rocks Pat’s chart toppers and Grammy award winning hits including Hit Me with Your Best Shot, Love is a Battlefield, Heartbreaker, We Belong, and so many more!
