‘TRON THE BAND’ was formed 30 years ago by lead singer, Tron Simpson and lead guitar player, Peter Stoneham.  Over the course of three decades, TRON has entertained clubs, festivals, and large venue shows with classic rock from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, outlaw country, originals and a few fun novelty tunes.  TRON has shared the stage with CINDERELLA, SHERYL CROW, ROBBY KRIEGER, FOGHAT, TAB BENOIT, OMAR AND THE HOWLERS, THE YOUNG DUBLINEERS, RANDY BACHMAN and other well-known artists.

TRON THE BAND has been a local favorite and won the Gazette’s ‘BEST OF THE SPRINGS’ award for best local cover band.   TRON’s lineup has changed over the years with Tron and Peter (lead singer and lead guitar player) as constants.  Today, TRON is a four-piece rock group with the rhythm section featuring the superior talents of Steve Daigle on drums and Mike Lascuola on bass.  High energy, a great selection of songs, and the love of music makes TRON THE BAND stand out.
