Flash Cadillac has been playing traditional rock & roll for the fun of it for 54 years! Founded in Boulder, CO in 1969 as Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids, the band moved to Los Angeles in 1970 and appeared in two movies (American Graffiti & Apocalypse Now) and on numerous TV shows (American Bandstand & Happy Days), performed hundreds of college and festival dates throughout the USA, and released two chart singles “Good Times Rock and Roll” and “Did You Boogie (With Your Baby)”. Upon returning to Colorado in 1976 and dropping the “Continental Kids” name, Flash Cadillac remained a popular attraction for private, corporate and concert events while advancing their songwriting and recording careers in the studio. An inaugural 1992 pops collaboration with the Colorado Springs Symphony led to pops concert bookings with nearly eighty orchestras nationwide over the next fifteen years, including several repeat performances with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. Flash Cadillac was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2012; the year 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of American Graffiti’s release as Flash continues their six-decade legacy as Keepers of the Flame.
